Buy the book. Books are available in the
church office. (Suggested donation $12.50)

Read Chapter 1 before your first meeting

Prayer journaling will begin the day after
your first meeting
If small group involvement doesn’t work for you right now

Read the book. and use the prayer journal (in
the book). Books are available in the church office. (Suggested

Pray daily and spend time listening to God.

Hear related messages and sermons on Sunday
mornings and Wednesday evenings.

All people are welcome to come to any of these Lenten study
groups. You may
attend once or for the whole Lenten season.
Prayer Wall Each week
individual Unbinding the Heart Prayer Team members (there are
now nine of us) will pray, and we invite you to give us your
specific prayer requests. This can be done in two ways:
1) Fill out a Prayer Request Form, available in the pews, and
put your request in the collection plate. When these prayer
requests are acknowledged, they will be placed on one of the
prayer walls.
2) Visit either of the two Prayer Walls in person, noting your
prayer request on a post-it and placing it on the wall. A small
heart will appear on your request when it has been acknowledged
by the prayer team.
For those prayers that are to remain private, requests may be
folded up and placed in the slits in the prayer walls.
Lenten
devotional messages will be available on a CD, in the
Unbinding Your Heart book, and on this website. Some of our
members may not have a CD player. If you have an extra
portable CD player which you could lend to another of our
members during the season of Lent, please contact the
church office. This would enable our members to use the CD
as a devotional tool.
